When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. When you import trade data, we store your positions, trades, stock holdings, dividends, and related analytics. We also collect stock price data from third-party APIs (Finnhub) to display current market values.
Your data is used solely to provide the Options Dealer service — displaying your portfolio, calculating analytics, and tracking your trading performance. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than operating the Service.
Your data is stored with per-account access rules enforced at the database level, so no other user can access your records. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
Every record you create is tied to your account, and access rules enforced by the database itself — not just our application code — restrict it to you alone. Even in the event of an application bug, these database-level rules keep your data isolated.

You can export all your data at any time from the Settings page. You can also delete all your trading data at any time — this permanently removes your positions, trades, holdings, dividends, and history. To close your account entirely (removing your sign-in and profile as well), email privacy@optionsdealer.com and we will complete the removal.
We use cookies only for authentication session management. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. Your theme preference (dark/light) is stored in localStorage, not cookies.
You have the right to access, export, and delete your data at any time. You can do this directly from the Settings page without contacting us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
